Data Access and Control
We believe in empowering you with full access to and control over your data. You can download all your transactional data, including categories and notes, directly from your Safqah app settings.
Your personal Safqah account data, such as project finances and transactions, is accessed by our team only when necessary to provide the Safqah services, for instance, during support requests for data issues. For internal analytics and business purposes, we use aggregated and anonymized data. Details about our data use can be found in our Privacy Policy.
To safeguard your data, we implement robust security measures including 256-bit encryption for data at rest and Transport Layer Security (TLS) for data in transit. This means your data is encrypted both when stored and during interactions with our servers. Additionally, we partner with reputable data processors, adhering to stringent security standards, to ensure the safety and confidentiality of your data.
Data Retention and Deletion
You have the option to delete your Safqah account at any point from the Settings menu, or by sending a request to privacy@safqah.co. Upon account deletion, we erase your linked financial data and Safqah account data (email address, projects, etc.), except where legally obligated to retain certain information. In cases with no legal obligations, your data is fully removed from all our systems, including backups, within 60 days.
Note: Deleting your Safqah account is distinct from unsubscribing from our services.
To cancel your subscription, go to Safqah Settings → Subscription → Manage your Subscription.
If you delete your account without canceling your subscription, you can still unsubscribe via your device’s Settings → Purchases → Subscriptions → Safqah.
